RENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

RENTALS

Minimum... The least amount of time and the lowest rate for equipment
Daily... 24 hour period
Weekly... 7 consecutive days
Monthly... 28 consecutive days

We charge for all time out including Sundays, Holidays, and rain days.
Your prompt return will save you money.

OVERNIGHT and WEEKEND RENTALS

Overnight rental rates are 4 hour charges (if applicable) according to the times below:
Weekday... Equipment must be picked up after 4:00 P.M. Monday-Friday and returned before 8:30 A.M. the following day.

Weekend rental rates are as follows:
Friday... Equipment picked up after 2:00 P.M. and returned Monday before 8:30 A.M. equals 1.5 day rate.
Saturday... Equipment picked up Saturday and returned Monday by 8:30 A.M. equals 1 day rate.

Per industry standard practice, rates for equipment with hour meters are based on an 8 hour per day, 40 hour per week, and 160 hour 4 week running time. Additional charges will accrue when exceeding these hour limits.

PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

DEPOSITS and PAYMENTS

The rental charge plus deposit is taken in advance according to the renters anticipated length of use.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) for payments.
We reserve the right to charge a deposit on any rental.
We encourage all companies to apply for a charge account at Do It Yourself Rental.
Payments for invoices closed during the month, will be due the 10th of the following month.

DELIVERY

Delivery is available to your home or jobsite. Please call for details.

IDENTIFICATION

We require a valid Ohio driver's license for all rentals. A Military ID in conjunction with a valid out-of-state license may also be acceptable.
We reserve the right to refuse any rental for any reason.

HOURS

Monday - Friday: 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
Saturday: 8:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Sunday: CLOSED

DAMAGE WAIVER

We offer a damage waiver at a cost of 10% of the rental fees to cover you against any damages caused by you to our equipment. This is a minimal fee considering the costs that can be involved in repairs. Should you decline this coverage, you will be responsible for the cost of replacement parts plus labor to repair the equipment. This damage waiver does not cover trucks, trailers, tires and theft. We reserve the right to refuse damage waiver on any rental.

FUEL

All fuel tanks are full at the time of rental. The customer is responsible for any additional fuel needed including fuel to refill the tank before returning equipment . Any tank not refilled upon return will be charged accordingly. If you have any questions regarding what type of fuel to use, please call us.

TIRES

CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TIRE DAMAGE. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT CHARGES WILL BE ADDED TO INVOICES.

EQUIPMENT FAILURE

At Do It Yourself Rental we strive to rent only quality equipment in excellent working order. In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with our tools, please call us immediately.
